Such amazing food. Went for an early dinner with a friend. Appetizers of veg pakora was delicious. So big and so many dips. We also shared butter chicken and veg korma-both fantastic! Portion size very good and flavors were bursting. Spiced perfectly. Our waitress was attentive and made a really good mixed drink. I absolutely would return.
Service was top-notch. They were incredibly friendly and attentive. When only two of us ordered dessert (some delicious Gulab Jamun) the waiter brought complimentary mango ice cream for the third of our party. One of the owners who was around came and chatted us up and gave us free after-dinner cocktails on the house. All of this despite us being the last table at the restaurant at closing -- I didn't at all feel like they were trying to kick us out!
The food was delicious! I love Indian food, and this just pushed me more into loving it. The food had good heat and was in a nice portion that was filling, but not overly-filling. I went with a bunch of girlfriends and we all ordered different things. I remember ordering the Tikka Masala which had great spices.
The restaurant is clean and fancy with lovely table linens and soft background music. I like Indian food as long as its not too spicy. I had the Chicken Korma which was delicious - very mild, as I like it. My friends ordered the Mulligatawny Soup and the Mixed Platter which they thoroughly enjoyed. Service was efficient and friendly.
